Our cold blood horses „Süddeutsches Kaltblut“ are our favorites. We have been breeding this indigenous race for more than 30 years, we have already known the great-grandmother of our mares when they were foals. Cold blood horses are no cuddly animals – they weigh in between 700 and 800 kg. They are the typical farmer’s working animals of the region and are used to work in the woods in autumn and in winter. In a persistent trot, they also pull our horse-drawn carriages, in which we take our guests for a ride. They are willing and reliable partners in our horse trekking tours to the Tyrolean Mountains. The annual highlight is the “Leonhardifahrt” in November This pilgrimage to the patron of the horses and the other livestock is the linchpin for all horse lovers in our beautiful upper Bavaria.
